Life Insurance
Which policy are you looking for?
Life insurance to protect your loved ones:
This is a very straightforward policy, designed to protect your loved ones. Otherwise known as Level Term assurance, the policy will pay out a lump sum if you should die or become terminally ill. So for instance, you may choose to have a policy that would protect you for the next 25 years at £250,000. In this case, you would pay a fixed premium each month and, on your death or diagnosis of a terminal illness at any point over the following 25 years, a payout of £250,000 would be paid to you or your family. This policy is also available with Critical Illness Cover added on. Click here to get a free quote and see how little this could cost you.
Life insurance to protect your mortgage:
Mortgage protection can be suitable for either a new mortgage or a remortgage. Otherwise known as Decreasing Term assurance, the policy is designed to protect your repayment mortgage. The amount payable, should you die or become terminally ill, decreases in line with the outstanding balance of your mortgage. So if, for example, you currently had an outstanding mortgage of £180,000 to be paid over 22 years, and you were to die after 5 years then the remaining balance of your mortgage would be paid out. This policy is also available with Critical Illness Cover added on. Click here to get a free quote and see how little this could cost you.
Critical Illness Cover:
Critical Illness cover pays you a tax-free lump sum in the event that you are diagnosed with any of a range of specified illnesses. Example illnesses include certain types of cancer, heart attacks, strokes and many more. It can be a stand alone policy or be part of a Level Term or Decreasing Term policy. Although more expensive than stand alone life insurance, Critical Illness can provide huge financial relief if you became very ill, even if you were likely to survive. The money could help pay off your mortgage, pay your bills while you're away from work, or even pay for the best medical treatment available.
